I grew up in a salon! My gram owned her own for as long as I can remember, and I spent a ton of time there! She always gave me the freedom to play around with anything in the salon (RIP to all the mannequin heads I played with!) so when I went to Empire in 2014, I already had a lot of knowledge and hands on experience. After graduating in 2015, I worked for my gram doing hair and bookkeeping until I moved to Avis where I currently live. Since then, I’ve done hair and nails for friends and family while working as a preschool teacher and in car sales before finally coming full circle and getting back into the salon life. I’m so thankful to Nichol and Chris for giving me the opportunity to be the face of Old School Salon and Spa and I look forward to making you feel beautiful!

Ashly is our newest stylist and she comes to us 9 years of experience, specializing in creating custom cuts, colors, and styles that reflect each client’s personality. When my daughter Mirisha started working at the salon, she recruited me to help out. I LOVE to clean, so this was a perfect way interact with clientele while helping the stylists out throughout the day. Whenever I'm not at work, I love spending time with family, in my back yard oasis, and at our river lot, usually cleaning, soaking up the sun or with my nose in a good book.
